Throughout the Education program, we have discussed "inquiry" and promoting entrepreneurs in our classrooms. The Ted Talk video Let's Raise Kids to be Entrepreneurs is a great idea of how to change our society and how it is run, based on how we raise our kids at home and in the classroom. The idea of finding problems and finding solutions in classrooms and at home is extremely innovative. The idea of replacing ADHD and personality disorder medications with innovative and inquiry based classrooms sounds a lot better than suppressing children's personalities with drugs. 13:30 in the video "Allowances teach kids the wrong habits" is similar to simply giving students a lesson plan with ready made problems. Students can come up with the problems and solutions just like the Herold suggests kids do at home for allowance; find real life problems and design solutions to fix them. I think this way of teaching will create highly ingrained members of society focused on bettering the system as a whole rather than scraping by.
